Publishing Terms & Conditions

As part of this publishing program, you will receive and retain all rights to the final, designed shook PDF files (interior and cover).

You are responsible for the marketing, promotion and distribution of your shook.

The maximum number of pages is 100 pages. If your shook exceeds this page count, there will be an additional $10/page fee assessed to cover additional copyediting and design time.

You may include up to a total of ten (10) inserted objects, including graphics, callouts or tables. Additional inserted objects will incur a fee of $10/object.

This program includes three (3) rounds of drafts for your approval (Draft V1, Draft V2 and Final, Print-Ready Draft). If you require additional drafts, our standard hourly design rate of $125/hour with a one-hour minimum will be charged for each additional draft version.

Any extra design time beyond what is included in your program will be billed at $125/hour with a one-hour minimum.

Any interior or cover revisions after final approval will be billed at $125/hour with a one-hour minimum (this includes any future updates).

All program fees must be paid in full prior to the release of the final files for printing or eBook distribution. In the event this is sooner than the final charges, we will charge your credit card on file accordingly.

Our fee for printed 100-page shooks is $500 per 100 printed copies and includes shipping to your U.S.-based address.

You agree to have your shook completed within six (6) months of starting this program. In the event your shook is delayed due to your schedule, a reactivation fee of $500 may be required to re-start your project.

Bite Sized Books retains ownership of the native, ready-to-print production files for your shook’s cover and interior. You may purchase these native files for a one-time transfer fee (at which time we will transfer ownership of these files to you).
